On the evening of April 27, 2016, we gathered at the Willard Event Center in Washington D.C. to hear Lan Cao, professor and author of Monkey Bridge and The Lotus and The Storm, deliver an inspirational keynote speech. We also had the pleasure of awarding scholarships to Thuc-Doan Phan (George Mason University School of Law, J.D. Candidate 2017) and Emma Nguyen (The George Washington University School of Law, J.D. Candidate 2018).
